A Delight Discovery Of Tranquility: Lyttelton Port
Lyttelton port is one of the extra-ordinary ports; it has emerged out of extinct volcano which gives it a very beautiful view. It is next to the Banks of Peninsula and connected to the Christchurch by the roadway and railway tunnels. The Lyttelton is also a town which is beautiful because of its location between extinct volcano mountains. . The whole city looks like post card picture, unreal to the eyes. You have to see the one of the best feature of the town, Timeball station. It was erected in 1876 and the only one out of five Timeball station in the world which is in still working condition. It was build to know the marine chronometer by this the sailors would know longitude of sea. Bon Voyage! With Louise Vinton bags packed with my luggage, we went on to the Voyage on to the Cairo. As per the plan trip we had to take a cruise ship from Port Said. It was a day trip to Cairo, the capital of Egypt; the distance was some what 160 km i.e. 100 miles south.  With some and history and geography that I learned in my school days I can tell you about Port Said. It is on the Mediterranean coast, on the Suez Canal. Today it is a place of elite and wealthy people who come in summer for its popular resorts. Port Said has distinctive architecture and some old grand houses. Well as we started through the Cruise, we were mostly on deck, basking the scorching sun and applying the sun blocks. It was beautiful and warm sunrise which made the morning pleasant. It is always a pleasant feeling to watch the early sunrise but this one was too different from the ones which I have experienced; a morning in the mid sea with gallon and gallons of water all around beneath the blue clear sky. The ship was tearing the water so soft making its way towards an unknown destination. Well it was too different experience for me. Disgusted with the my hectic life in metropolitan I had decided to just walk away somewhere far, where no one could associate me with anything, where I will be stranger and I don’t have to care for anyone.
