Seabourn Quest Makes Inaugural Call at Marmaris, Turkey

Seabourn Quest, following the christening ceremonies, made its first port visit at Marmaris in Turkey. The ship started its maiden voyage from Barcelona a few days ago.

Seabourn Quest had four hundred and ten passengers as well as three hundred and forty four crew members on board, when it arrived at the Marmaris Cruise Port in the wee hours of the morning on Thurs, 30th June.

A welcoming ceremony was organized for the occasion of the maiden voyage as well as the inaugural call at Marmaris by Seabourn Quest. The new luxury ship was welcomed according to Turkish traditions of hospitality with red roses and folk dancers.

The passengers enjoyed the song, dance and other festivities and kept on taking photos. There were evil eye beads and gifts with views of Marmaris such as bookmarks, magnets, post cards, bags and more that were presented to passengers as souvenirs. Delicious Turkish Delight was also served to passengers.

After the festivities, the passengers left on excursions or trips to the Marmaris town or at the beach. The ship departed at 18:00, with enough time to spare for all passengers to enjoy the sights and beauty of Marmaris. From here on, the ship sailed on to Kusadasi.
