With beautiful cruises in and around the continent of Africa, there are many cruises which are really worth the experience. Day 3 you are headed to Dakhla in Western Sahara situated at the tip of the peninsula. Earlier a Spanish colony today this is a lovely beach with fishing as the main industry. With the beautiful sights of the terns, gulls and flamingos and the rustic boats this is a nostalgic experience.

Day 4 you would be at sea and you could avail of the unique dining experiences, the rejuvenating fitness workout and the special spa treatments on board the ship.

Day 6 you would reach Ponta Do sol in Santa Antao in Cape Verde Islands after two days of cruising in the ship. Here you would see the Ribeira Grande Mountains and the landscape and the temperature here is enviable. With the beautiful sights of the Cova volcano crater and the Corda Hills, you will also learn about the Creole culture here. Also see the Cocoli traditional village of Portuguese and the Ponta do Sol fishing village here and have the catchupa and fresh fish here. After spending the seventh day at sea, reach Dakar in Senegal on the eight day. Here you would get to experience this UNESCO World heritage Site and see the beauty of this intriguing slavery land of the 15th and the 19th centuries. See the House of Slaves which is a Dutch construction and also see the IFAN Historical Museum.

Day 9 will take you to Banjul at Gambia. This is a perfect haven for the bird lovers and more than 500 species can be seen. The Abuko Nature Reserve is also an attraction. Also see the Makasutu cultural forest which is on the banks of River Gambia. See the sights of the monitor lizards, monkeys, mongoose and the pygmy deer here and enjoy all the wildlife observations, and see the women collecting oysters here.

After spending the tenth day at sea you would reach Freetown at Sierra Leone on the eleventh day. Freetown is a British crown colony and is the main base of suppressing slave trade here. See the St. Georges’ Cathedral and National Museum etc here.

Day 12 the cruise would be on Banana Islands at Sierra Leone, and you would see the Dublin and the Ricketts Island, then Day 13 and Day 14 at sea, and the fifteenth day would be on San Pedro at Ivory Coast where you would see the local fishermen, and the sixteenth day would be at sea. The seventeenth day would be at Takoradi Ghana where you would get to see all the places here and Day 18 would be at Tema at Accra in Ghana.

This is a lovely cruise to be in and you would certainly enjoy it.
