SuperStar Libra is a cruise ship part of the fleet of Star Cruises, the third largest cruise line in the world. Star Cruises dominate the Asia Pacific market and are known for their far eastern itineraries.
SuperStar Libra was constructed in 1988 In the Wartsila Shipyard in Turku, Finland for Norwegian Cruise Line. The ship was named Seaward then. In 1997 she was renamed again as Norwegian Sea. It was in 2005, when the ship was transferred to Star Cruises, that she got her present name of SuperStar Libra.
